Halloween Project

I worked in the Department of Geoinformation at the Grundbuch- und Vermessungsamt, which publishes online map portals. To increase the visibility of these maps, I came up with various holiday campaigns, such as a digital advent calendar for Christmas and an Easter egg hunt. In 2024, I planned a Halloween campaign that will involve both portals. For MapBS 3D, I created various 3D objects to decorate the portal, digitally "dressing up" the city. For MapBS, I researched haunted houses in Basel. These houses are marked with an icon on the map, and when clicked, users can learn more about their spooky history.

And for MapBS, I gathered information on Basel’s ghosts and witches, illustrated these stories, and hid them behind icons on the map. And we dyed the rhine bloodred, check out this Video to find out why...
